Brooklyn Tile & Design: A New Chapter in Long Island

At Brooklyn Tile & Design, our story has always been rooted in family, craftsmanship, and community. For years, our beloved showroom has been more than just a display space — it’s been the heart of our business. It’s where countless homeowners, contractors, and designers discovered that perfect tile or kitchen cabinet, where visions were born, and where our team had the privilege of getting to know the faces and stories that make up our incredible community. This showroom has served us well, standing as a true symbol of creativity and connection.

Now, we’re excited to share the next chapter of our journey: our move from Queens to a brand-new showroom in Long Island.

Why Long Island?

For many years, a large part of our work has been in Long Island. We’ve collaborated with homeowners creating their dream kitchens, designers seeking the perfect materials to bring visions to life, and contractors who rely on us for quality and reliability. It became clear that Long Island wasn’t just a place where we did business — it was becoming home to a growing part of our family.

Our new showroom reflects that commitment. It’s spacious, beautifully built, and designed to inspire. It’s a place where clients, designers, and contractors alike can come together, explore ideas, and see firsthand the possibilities for their spaces.

A Place for Inspiration and Connection

This showroom isn’t just about cabinets, countertops, tile, and vanities — it’s about the experience. We set out to create an environment where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or just the spark of an idea, our design specialists are here to listen, guide, and help bring your vision to life.

Carrying Forward Our Promise

While our location is changing, our promise remains the same: to treat every client like family. We believe in making the design process simple, transparent, and enjoyable. We believe in quality products at fair prices. And most of all, we believe in the value of listening, collaborating, and building spaces that reflect who you are.

Looking Ahead

Our move to Long Island is not only about expanding a business — it’s about investing in the people and communities we serve. We’re grateful for the years of support that have brought us here, and we look forward to welcoming you into our new home.

From our family to yours, thank you for being part of this journey. We can’t wait to see what we’ll create together in Long Island.

Large Format Tile in a small bathroom?

Is my 12x24 tile considered “large format”? Nope! Today we’re talking 30x30, 24x48 and 30x60’s. Technology has made these tiles available in large squares or rectangles. One of the many benefits to large format tile is being able to minimize grout joints, creating a clean and elegant design. Not only does this create a seamless look, it is also easier to clean and requires less maintenance.

Design versatility is music to a designer’s ears. For instance, a staple...

Looking ahead! Kitchen Design Trends for 2020

"Dark kitchen cabinets" & "The no upper cabinet trend"

The white kitchen is a classic, but many are getting quite bored of a kitchen with minimalistic pop in color. Black cabinets are big rave now and might even be replacing grey. Black cabinets portray elegance with a deep rich luxurious style that the other options just can’t. It gives the kitchen a subtle dramatic essence. Combined with warm chestnut wood and gold finishes, you have an updated twist to an eighties classic. More and more homeowners are getting bolder which allows for us designers to get even...

Kitchen Cabinet Accessories Spotlight

Let’s begin with a cabinet that most people are unaware of, a blind base corner cabinet! A blind base cabinet is a corner cabinet used to transition from one wall to another, without leaving a large empty/void space. It is also used when other corner cabinets, such as a lazy susan, are not desired or are not appropriate for the given space. In fact, prior to the popularization of the lazy susan, blind base cabinets were the corner cabinet of choice.

Kitchen Design Checklist

Time is so valuable today. No one wants to nor has the time to make multiple trips to the showroom. We want your experience to be fun, not stressful. Preparation is key! Here are the five things you should have before coming into the showroom to maximize your time. A “wants” and “needs” list is a great way to start. Identify things you feel are necessary vs accessories that you can live without if cuts need to be made. Walk through your current kitchen and notice what you like and dislike. This will give you an idea of what you are looking for in your new kitchen.
