Why Vinyl Flooring

Luxury Vynil

Looking for an alternative to wood, tile or stone flooring? Then luxury vinyl flooring may be just right for you! Engineered to mimic the look of stone, tile or wood, this $2 Billion industry has taken the world by storm. But why vinyl? Below are few reasons that will make you want to consider this durable alternative.

COST- Luxury vinyl flooring can cost anywhere from $2 to $5 per square foot, whereas hardwood is likely to be found in the $8 to $25 per range per square foot. This reduction in price is worth noting, especially for homeowners who want quality flooring but are also on a budget.

AESTHETHICS- The material is created with the latest technology to give you a natural look and feel on the surface, meaning you don’t have to worry about your floors looking artificial or unappealing. In fact, many people might have an issue with differentiating natural flooring from vinyl flooring.

INSTALL- Many vinyl tiles can actually be installed over existing floors, getting rid of the need to remove the “old floor” altogether, saving time and finances.

MAINTENANCE- LVT is resistant to stains, so you do not need to invest financially in special cleaning supplies or services. Brooklyn Tile and Design Day of Charity

On May 13,2023, Brooklyn Tile and Design had the ultimate honor of giving back to a great cause. BTD sponsored and hosted an informational booth to help raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society along with 25 other vendors and sponsors. The Block Party and Market Fundraiser was held on a beautiful tree lined street in Garden City, New York. There were over 150 smiling faces in attendance. Children as well as adults enjoyed the beautiful sunny day shopping, playing, eating, and petting adoptable puppies.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a global leader against blood cancer. 100% of all proceeds from the ticket proceeds benefited LLS. Money raised went directly to cancer patient services, patient advocacy and most importantly, cancer research.

Brooklyn Tile and Design understands the importance of giving back and community volunteerism.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
